Awesome floating Spira foam car

This fantastic car is capable of of 100 miles per gallon also incorporating a floating ability. Spira foam car is a light weight model so floating is guaranteed. Constructed by designer Lon Ballard, the foam car is about to steal the show for sure. Spira foam car features its top speed of 70 miles per hour. 

The very interesting and weird fact is that the car was made of 90 percent foam. This three wheeler foam car can be lifted by a man featuring ten feet in length while over four feet in height. Due to its innovative and creative foam air bags, the Spira cars are considered to be safer than a regular vehicle. 

The Spira foam car weighs 302 pound, but it does not seem to be a problem with the foam car. A&G Technology Company is going to produce a limited number pf foam cars in Thailand in not too distant future. Spira foam’s car structure does not guarantee a high shock resistance as 90 percent of it is made of foam. 

The Spira foam car will take place in the “Automotive X prize” two-seater category with a .5 million prize for the first place. The requirements are that two persons should be seated in a car which should be capable to reach its highest speed of 80 miles per hour with acceleration rate from zero to 60 miles per hour for 12 seconds.
