Nokia N800 Internet Tablet PCNokia continues to push the boundaries of mobile phone technologies at CES 2007 with the release of its new Nokia N800 Internet Tablet, calling it a “next generation widescreen Nokia Nseries multimedia computer.”

Based on Nokia’s Linux based Table Operating System, the N800 will allow heavy use of Internet applications such as Internet calling, instant messaging, and email as well as the downloading/streaming of multimedia content.

An improvement of the previously release Nokia 770 Internet Tablet the Nokia N800promises faster performance, a touch screen qwerty keyboard, an integrated web camera, and support for both WiFi and Bluetooth. Being part of the Nseries also means a more elegant design.

The Nokia N800 is available immediately in the United States and selected markets in Europe at about $399.
